Paul D. Harold, Photographer

I have over 25 years of amateur and semi-professional photography experience mostly related to machinery. I began work in the fashion and glamour arena 1999. I have worked with over 200 models and have put together a reasonably broad portfolio. Professional projects include several personal and family portrait shoots, model portfolio shoots, a calendar for Evidence Modeling Agency and as an event photographer for the 2002 & 2003 Portland Bridal Shows.

I recently had one of my images published in a national modeling industry magazine (See Tear sheet page)

I have an indoor studio in my home which is located in the South end of Seattle. It is very near several parks including one located on Puget Sound. I also have easy access to the Cascade mountains, Pacific Ocean, Industrial areas and other scenic backdrops when weather and schedule permit.

Proof Of Age
All Models must present picture identification (driver's license or passport) as proof of age.

Minors
If you are under 18 year old you will need to have a parent (perferably your mother) with you. There are 2 reasons, First a model is required to sign a Consent and Release form and in the State Of Washington minors cannot legally sign such documents. Second I am not willing to risk possible lawsuits from parents who were not aware of their child's actions. Therefore no minors will be allowed on set without a face to face meeting with their parent or legal guardian.

Chaperones
I would encourage, expect and welcome you to bring someone with you. It will make both of us feel more comfortable. However, a Chaperone must keep in mind that their sole role is to serve the purpose of ensuring the safety of the model. They are not the model's coach. With the exception of the parents of small children, chaperones are not generally welcome on the set unless they are needed to assist the photographer.

Boyfriends, husbands and/or fathers are generally not welcome on photo shoots as they all too often become jealous and/or possessive and frequently will attempt to disrupt or take control of the shoot. If they are your last resort then bring them but only in the most extreme situations. I recommend you bring your mother or a girl friend.

Models are responsible for the behavior of their escorts. If I determine that the quality of a shoot is being compromised by the interference of an escort, I will terminate the shoot and the model will not be paid.
